 A litter usually contains 3-13 young, born after 10 months becuse of delayed implantation in the wall of the uterus.

 

The mother watches them closley and takes good care of them. In about five weeks their eyes are working. Young Ermines start to hunt when they are two months old and move out when they are 6 months old.
