Ermine weasels eat small animals, birds, eggs, frogs and occasinal invertabrates.

 

Small prey is grabbed at the bottom of the skull, and they attack larger animals at the throat.

Pika is a special treat for Ermine weasels (a small rodent), and is one of the hardest rodents to catch.

 

The Ermine weasel normally hunts at night.
